Hardware Guide
What hardware mines each algorithm on 1Miner.Net, and which software to run.
SHA-256
ASICBTC, BCH, BC2, BCH2GPU/CPU mining is not viable. Point the ASIC's pool field at the stratum URL on the coin's Connect page. Don't have hardware? Rent SHA-256 hashrate from NiceHash or MiningRigRentals.
X11
ASICKerrigan (KRGN)X11 is ASIC-dominated. Configure the ASIC directly with the X11 stratum port β no extra software needed.
Equihash 200,9 / 192,7
GPUKerrigan (KRGN), Zcash (ZEC)Use miniZ or lolMiner. Kerrigan's 192,7 variant REQUIRES the 'kerrigan' personalization flag β without it every share is rejected. ZEC 200,9 also runs on Z15-class ASICs.
KawPow
GPUKerrigan (KRGN)6GB+ VRAM recommended. T-Rex for NVIDIA, TeamRedMiner for AMD, BzMiner for mixed rigs.
Etchash
GPUEthereum Classic (ETC)DAG grows over time β cards under 5GB will stop working. lolMiner and BZMiner both perform well.
ProgPowZ
GPUZano (ZANO)Zano-specific ProgPow variant. Builds a ~2GB DAG on first start. lolMiner, WildRig, and TT-Miner support it.
Whirlpool (CapStash)
GPUCapStash (CAPS)Mine with DankMiner β the official 1Miner.Net miner. Hybrid CUDA + OpenCL lets mixed NVIDIA + AMD rigs run at full speed.
XelisHash V3
GPUXelis (XEL)DankMiner is recommended; SRBMiner-Multi works as an alternative CPU/GPU option.
JanusHash (PoBW)
GPUWarthog (WART)JanusHash = SHA256t on the GPU + VerusHash verification on the CPU. Allow at least 4 CPU cores or the verifier starves. DankMiner v1.4.0 handles both sides.
RandomX (rx/0)
CPUMonero (XMR)CPU-only. More L3 cache = more hashrate. Enable huge pages / MSR tweaks for a big boost. DankMiner v1.4.0 mines XMR on CPU and can dual-mine alongside a GPU coin.
