Hardware Guide

What hardware mines each algorithm on 1Miner.Net, and which software to run.

SHA-256

ASICBTC, BCH, BC2, BCH2, Kvanta5 (KV5)
Recommended: Antminer S19/S21, Whatsminer M50/M60

GPU/CPU mining is not viable. Point the ASIC's pool field at the stratum URL on the coin's Connect page. Don't have hardware? Rent SHA-256 hashrate from NiceHash or MiningRigRentals.

Equihash 200,9

GPUZcash (ZEC)
Recommended: NVIDIA RTX 30/40 series, AMD RX 6000+

Use miniZ or lolMiner. ZEC 200,9 also runs on Z15-class ASICs.

Etchash

GPUEthereum Classic (ETC)
Recommended: NVIDIA / AMD GPUs with 5GB+ VRAM

DAG grows over time — cards under 5GB will stop working. lolMiner and BZMiner both perform well.

Whirlpool (CapStash)

GPUCapStash (CAPS)
Recommended: NVIDIA GTX 1060 – RTX 5090, AMD via OpenCL

Mine with DankMiner — the official 1Miner.Net miner. Hybrid CUDA + OpenCL lets mixed NVIDIA + AMD rigs run at full speed.

XelisHash V3

GPUXelis (XEL)
Recommended: NVIDIA / AMD GPUs

DankMiner is recommended; SRBMiner-Multi works as an alternative CPU/GPU option.

JanusHash (PoBW)

GPUWarthog (WART)
Recommended: NVIDIA / AMD GPU + a 4+ core CPU

JanusHash = SHA256t on the GPU + VerusHash verification on the CPU. Allow at least 4 CPU cores or the verifier starves. DankMiner v1.4.0 handles both sides.

RandomX (rx/0)

CPUMonero (XMR)
Recommended: AMD Ryzen / EPYC, Intel Core i-series

CPU-only. More L3 cache = more hashrate. Enable huge pages / MSR tweaks for a big boost. DankMiner v1.4.0 mines XMR on CPU and can dual-mine alongside a GPU coin.
