Community Donations Are Live Across Our Pools

The community donation system is live across every PPLNS and SOLO pool we run. Here's how it works.
When you set a donation percentage in your Miner Settings (anywhere from 0% to 10%), that percentage of each payout is automatically sent to the coin's community fund. The deduction happens at payout time β you'll see it in your ledger, every donation is conserved on-chain, and the Top Donors leaderboard is public on each pool's Miners page.
A few important properties:
- It's opt-in. The default is 0%. You set it, you change it, you opt out β all from your dashboard with IP verification.
- It's per-coin, per-wallet. Mining Warthog donates to the Warthog fund; mining CapStash donates to the CapStash fund. We don't pool donations across coins.
- It's atomically conservative. The Miningcore fork rounds donations down so the miner is never shortchanged. minerAmount + donation β‘ amount, byte-for-byte.
- It's merged across PPLNS + SOLO. If you donate via the PPLNS pool and your friend donates via the SOLO pool of the same coin, you both show up in the same ranking.
We've already seen the first $1,500 in CAPS contributions go through. Thanks to everyone who flipped the slider β community funds are how good ecosystems get built.
